Coming Soon: Sephora by OPI Matte Nail Polish

Sephora by OPI introduces matte nail polish

Can you even handle it? Yep, look what I found lurking on Sephora's site. Coming soon, Sephora by OPI introduces three limited edition shades available in a matte texture. Looks like this is going to be the same gig as OPI's Matte collection with standard core line colours. Let's cross our fingers and hope these are more like OPI's Paz-itively Hot matte. Check out the details below.

Sephora By OPI Matte is inspired by the cutting-edge of style. This breakthrough, no-holds-barred matte finish (available in three of the most popular Sephora by OPI Nail Lacquer shades) is not for everyone. It is for the woman who likes to lead instead of follow and who wants to make a daring fashion statement. Whether you choose an all-matte nail or a matte nail with a matching gloss tip, Sephora by OPI Matte transforms you into a fashionista fatale.

Sephora by OPI Matte does not wear as long as original Sephora by OPI. Do not wear Sephora by OPI Matte with a base coat, top coat, drying products, or hand lotion.

This collection should be available within the next week for a limited time only, retail price is $9.00. Get em' while you can! In the meantime, here's some swatches I messed around with. **Please note, these are not actual matte swatches.

The Matte collection will be available starting in August. Click here to check out the swatches.

those look a heck of a lot better than the oddball colour choices of the opi mattes. i was initially unimpressed by the sephora opi lineup when it first came out, but their limited edition colours are blowing my mind! Mermaid to Order has become my all-time fave go-to polish and i need to stock up on a few bottles before it goes away!!

The website says they are out of stock...do you think they will be available soon?

Steph said, on Jul 4th, 2009 3:23 am Reply
Hi K, Yes, they should be in stock within the next week. So, keep checking back on the website.

I hope I'll be able to get them. I pray they have the same matte finish as OPI. They should, shouldn't they!

I tried Deluxe Chocolate last week and loved it! Wicked will be my next mani. And I've been thinking about ordering the new Fall rose shades, but they don't seem very fall to me.... so I haven't decided yet.

Those are great dupes! I've always had good results from Milani, so I think I'll be looking for Dressmaker. I don't own any Chanel, and don't expect to either.

Great post! It's very helpful. I already have the Jordana (which is the same as the Milani Dressmaker) so I don't need the Chanel which is impossible to get a hand on. Thank you so much for this comparison!
